Root & Rose Wellness was created with one simple belief: every birthing parent deserves intentional care—before, during, and after birth. At Root & Rose Wellness, we believe every journey deserves care that’s grounded, intentional, and rooted in community - no matter the outcome.
We specialize in high-risk doula support, postpartum recovery, and restorative services designed to nurture the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Our team blends traditional wisdom with modern care to create safe, affirming spaces where birthing parents can heal, reconnect, and rise.
We know parenthood isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating a high-risk pregnancy, or rebuilding your sense of self postpartum, we meet you where you are—with compassion, clinical awareness, and care that centers your lived experience.
Our offerings include:
- High-Risk Doula Support — evidence-based, culturally responsive guidance for complex pregnancies, long term postpartum recovery and/or bereavement support.
- Postpartum & Wellness Services — curated, body-safe essentials to support your healing journey during the first 12 months.
- Energy & Wellness Services — reiki and other wellness rituals (such as belly binding) tailored to an individuals’ evolving needs.

Your Lead Doula
Marquita Jaramillo, Founder, Certified Full Spectrum Doula and Reproductive Justice Advocate at Root & Rose offering compassionate support for families through all of life’s sacred transitions.
With a background in holistic health and community-rooted care, Marquita brings a deeply personalized approach to every client—centering emotional wellbeing, body autonomy, and cultural connection. Her practice focuses on helping Black, Brown, and multicultural families feel seen, heard, informed, supported, and empowered at every step of their journey.
Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating postpartum healing, or seeking balance after loss, Root & Rose provides a space to be seen, heard, and cared for—mind, body, and spirit.
